Ivan Meštrović is the most famous Croatian sculptor who lived and worked in many European cities of art and culture like Paris, London, Rome, Cannes, Geneva… After the World War II, Ivan Meštrović emigrated to the United States where US president Dwight Eisenhower personally handed him his US Passport in 1954. Today his works are exhibited all over the world in renowned European and American museums and galleries along with the Vatican. Immerse yourself into exciting world of his art and visit the Mestrovic Gallery in the city of Split with magnificent view over the sea.
