The town of Omiš is surrounded by several hills which gives great opportunity for all hiking lovers. Hiking to the 300 m high spot of Omiška Dinara hill will take you to the Fortica fortress. Today it has a look like a fortress which Venetians rebuilt for the purpose of defence. But, throughout more than 2,000 years old history, this spot was used as a lookout and place for retreat. This more than 500 years old fortress offers a view of the Cetina canyon and a part of Omiš inland – Poljica and the islands of Brač, Hvar and Šolta.
The total hiking distance is 2,340 meters.
